Israel Tommy leads strategic initiatives in agriculture-based development and investment, with a focus on aquaculture production and processing, value chain enhancement, and livelihood opportunities for smallholder farmers.
Currently, Israel serves as the Director of Operations at Dula Agro Services Limited, driving agricultural value chain innovations to improve food security and farmer productivity. He is also the Executive Director of Cassadel Cassava Starch Company Limited, overseeing large-scale cassava starch production.
Israel brings over 12 years of experience in business strategy, development finance, and project management. Early in his career, he honed his expertise at Ciuci Consulting, where he worked across industries on business planning and operational improvements. He has since supported enterprises in raising over $3 million in equity and $10 million in debt financing, working closely with financial institutions, investors, and policymakers to create sustainable solutions.
Israel has spearheaded initiatives such as co-founding Grolink Outgrower Management Limited, the Lagos Aquaculture Centre of Excellence in partnership with the Lagos State Government, aimed at advancing fish production and capacity building for farmers. His work has also extended to launching fintech solutions like MyBackUpCash, promoting financial literacy and personal savings.
Israel holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Manchester and a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. In addition to his leadership roles, he teaches Financial Modelling and Business Strategy to emerging professionals through the Global Analysts Academy.
