Michael Olaoye is Director of Supply Chain and Automation at the Procter & Gamble (P&G) Company in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked with P&G for 18 years across multiple business units like Baby Care, Feminine Care, Fabric Care and Market Operations in different countries/regions i.e. Nigeria (Europe Middle East and Africa), Canada and the United States (North America) with diverse disciplines like Manufacturing, Engineering, Physical Distribution and Supply Network Operations.

Michael holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, UK and B.Sc. in Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has several other certifications like CCNA, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Sigma Black Belt, Supply Chain Excellence, Lean Manufacturing etc.

Michael takes pride in his humble beginning with Primary and Secondary School education in the suburb of Itire, Mushin and Surulere areas of Lagos State, Nigeria. He understands what it means to lack basic needs for living like food, clothing and shelter. He resonates with people in these conditions because of his past personal experiences. He is fond of memories of hawking on the streets in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State while under the age of 7years living with his grandparents in the village.

Michael has a dream to help people emerge from poverty and poor education. He founded Lychnos International with his wife, Joy Olaoye with this singularity of purpose. Michael’s passion for community development initiatives is reflected by his broad-based leadership of organizations like New Nigeria Conference, Student Christian Movement of Nigeria (OAU, Ile-Ife), Ondo State National Youth Service Corps Editorial Board, Belleville Believes (Ontario, Canada) and Lychnos International Inc.

Michael and Joy are kept busy by their adorable three kids who like the adventure of seeing the world and learning different cultures.
